    Smart Heating System (SHS) is a spatio-temporal, grid-capable process-heat platform that provides heat only where and when it creates value, with the goal of minimizing cost, CO₂, and risk while guaranteeing product quality and safety with following order and system rules:

    • Manifestation: it maps the process as a digital twin (zones × time); every decision is measurable (KPIs).
    • Front & back: every visible benefit (front) requires a robust back-end architecture.
    • Everything moves/changes: SHS is event- and prediction-driven (load peaks, recipe changes, weather/prices).
    • Beginning & end: lifecycle thinking, Assess → Design → Pilot → Operations → Retrofit/End-of-life; traceable artifacts.
    • Change creates time & space: SHS orchestrates heat in space (zones) over time (schedule).
      → Core component: Spatio-Temporal Orchestrator (STO).
